What is a tracking campaign?

A ‘Tracking Campaign’ will collect statistics for relevant posts so you can see how Twitter and Facebook posts has helped your marketing objectives e.g. increased visitors, signups etc.

We recommend you assign each post to a specific tracking campaign. This way SocialMotus will aggregate the results of all the posts within each campaign.

For example, you might have a sale during Christmas and send 10 posts to promote this. If you assign these 10 posts to a tracking campaign called “Christmas Promotions 2012”, you will be able to see the combined statistics of these messages such as the total number of people who clicked on the links in these posts to view your customized Christmas promotion webpage.
