Due to popular demand, Google + users can now disable comments and lock down their posts, photos and albums from being shared by others before publishing the post. Previously, you could only use these features after publishing your posts.
This makes much more sense. Logically, if a person didn’t want their posts to be shared or for comments to be disabled, they would want this from the start. They should always have been given the option to choose these settings prior to their posts being published to the world. Why it took feedback from several Google + users for Google to realize this seems a bit odd. But better late than never I guess.
To enable these features, just hover your mouse over the share box of whatever you want to share. More details in the video below:
