How do I monitor keywords?

    1. First you need to set up your keywords using ‘Keyword Settings’. Please refer to our FAQ on setting up keywords for instructions on how to do this.
    2. Go to the “Monitor” tab on the top of the screen.
    3. Then “Dashboard” side tab.
    4. Select the topic by clicking the grey cross next to your topic (In the example below, the topic is ‘social media’. A list of the topics you created will show up. Choose the topic you want to monitor.

**Note: SocialMotus will only show public Twitter tweets and Facebook posts.

    1. Now click on ‘Search’ and it will show you Twitter tweets or Facebook posts containing the keyword you specified.
    2. If you want to narrow down the type of tweets that appear, you can click on the ‘Advanced’ option and add additional criteria, such as ‘Add Additional Excluded Words’ so tweets with these words will not appear in the results.
